OUR REASON FOR BEING
Organized and chartered in 1984, the purpose of this organization is:
A. To promote an informed electorate through political education.
B. To increase the effectiveness of women in the cause of good government through active political participation.
C. To facilitate cooperation among all Republican Women.
D. To foster loyalty to the Republican Party and to promote its ideals.
E. To work for election of Republican Party nominees.
Membership
Membership in this organization is open to all women who pledge to support Republican candidates and pay current dues. Active Members shall also be members of the Arkansas Federation of Republican Women and the National Federation of Republican Women.
Republican men and women who wish to support the Club by paying annual dues and who may or may not attend meetings cannot make motions, have a voice or vote, serve on committees or hold office. They are, however, considered Associate Members and are welcome to take part in activities.
A third class of membership is Honorary Members; individuals may extend the honor to selected individuals in the community whose membership shall be confirmed by unanimous vote of those present at a general meeting.
Meetings
HSVRW meets the third Thursday of the month at the Coronado Community Center, 150 Ponderosa Way, Hot Springs Village. Meetings begin promptly at 10:00 a.m., but arrive a little early for fellowship, networking and refreshments. Like-minded guests are always welcome, women or men. Plan to attend and bring a friend. Come, listen, learn and participate. Be an informed voter!
