Chairman’s Corner: A Note from Chairman Wood

What a wonderful way to close out the year! Our 2025 TUSK Christmas Party at the historic Arlington Resort in Hot Springs was an evening filled with friends, celebration, and the conservative spirit that makes the Republican Party of Arkansas so special. I want to extend my heartfelt thanks to our dedicated TUSK Leadership Team — especially Senator Ben Gilmore, Senator Breanne Davis, and Jamie Land — for organizing such a fantastic event. We are also deeply grateful for all of our sponsors, with special appreciation for our Presenting Sponsors, Senator Tom Cotton and Governor Sarah Huckabee Sanders, whose support helped make the night truly memorable.

We were thrilled to have “Triple Nickel,” the band led by Congressman Rick Crawford, provide entertainment for the evening. Their performance added an extra level of joy and energy to the celebration. I’d also like to share that our attendees generously donated more than 30 toys for children in need this Christmas season — a beautiful example of the giving spirit that defines our Arkansas Republican family.

In addition to the TUSK festivities, we also held a productive and successful Winter Meeting. During this meeting, our members passed two rules and a resolution officially supporting Justice Nick Bronni in his campaign for the Arkansas Supreme Court.

I’m grateful to have been recognized by the AACA for the work I’ve helped drive here at the Arkansas Republican Party. It’s fantastic that we have such strong auxiliary groups to help pursue our conservative vision and expand membership within our party.

I’m proud of the thoughtful work and collaboration shown by our committee members as we continue strengthening our party and preparing for the important elections ahead.

And one more note: today is our Executive Director Drew Martin’s birthday! If you see him or give him a call, make sure to wish him a big happy birthday!

Chairman’s Corner: A Note from Chairman Wood

As we head into the summer months, it’s a great time for all of us to look ahead to our next election cycle, our priorities as Republicans, and how we can continue building a stronger Arkansas.

I’m proud to share that our Republican leadership in the Arkansas House and Senate are working hard to communicate the policies they’ve passed this session, policies that will make a real difference for families, communities, and businesses across our state. We’ll continue working together to ensure those accomplishments are shared far and wide as we head into the next cycle.

Save the Date for our upcoming State Committee Meeting on June 21, 2025, at the Republican Party Headquarters here in Little Rock. This is an important time for us to come together, align on our goals, and gear up for the work ahead. You can now pre-register for the State Committee Meeting on our website.

Thank you for being part of the Republican Party of Arkansas!
